Kanako's sixth album released in 1989 (I was very lucky to find an
unopened copy in 2000 ^_^). As the title "Dear" suggests, all songs are
love songs in which women sing for their dear one. Various types of
love are sung in this CD; happy, gentle, sorrowful or desperate yet none
is really bitter or overly passionate (that is, these "unhappy" songs
are bitter-sweet). Such love songs are probably what makes the most of
her voice and style. I think she brought her style to perfection in this
CD.
